At Old Stonehouse, our Spicy Dill Pickle Chips are made with the same quality ingredients as our dill pickle spears. Made with sliced organic Persian cucumbers, when available, sometimes referred to as mini cucumbers, dill, garlic, mustard seed, red pepper flakes, sea salt and whey. Not too much heat, just enough to make the other flavors really pop! Packed in convenient pint jars.
Whey fermenting, or lacto-fermentation, has many benefits beyond simple preservation. The proliferation of lactobacilli in fermented vegetables enhances their digestibility and increases vitamin levels. Good for the gut!
